Cobra Kai is an American martial arts comedy-drama streaming television series based on The Karate Kid film series. Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald created this series. It stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka along with Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser and Peyton List.

Cobra Kai is set 34 years after the original Karate Kid film. The series launched on YouTube Red (now YouTube Premium). The first two seasons released in 2018 to 2019.

The answer is ‘Yes!’ In June 2020, Netflix acquired the series and renewed the series for a third season.
