The sequel of The Karate Kit film series, Cobra Kai, is an American Action-Comedy Drama created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. This show comprises of season 1 and season 2. “The series was launched on YouTube Red (now YouTube Premium), which ran seasons one and two from 2018 to 2019”. (Source: wiki). Netflix has acquired the first two seasons of the show in June 2020 and has recently announced that season 1 and season 2 will be released on the 28th of August 2020. Netflix dropped a trailer to mark the release of season 1 and season 2 where we are hinted at Cobra Kai Season 3 which will be premiered in 2021. Netflix is the new home for the popular series.

The Plot and synopsis of Cobra Kai :
Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Film series and is set after a course of 34 years and is an American Martial-Arts drama. The shows official description goes like :
“Cobra Kai takes place 30 years after the events of 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where a now-successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) struggles to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of Mr. Miyagi and must face his previous adversary, down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo.”
Season 1 and season 2 were split into ten episodes each. There are no big revelations in the announcement about the plot and number of episodes in Season 3 of the show.
