Cobra Kai Season 5: Release Date, Plot, Cast and more!

Published

on

The wait is about to end as the much anticipated Season 5 of Cobra Kai is around the corner. The martial arts comedy-drama series is the sequel to Robert Mark Kamen’s infamous film thread, titled The Karate Kid. Cobra Kai talks about Johnny Lawrence, a part-time handyman who, in 1984’s All-Valley Karate Tournament, was defeated by Daniel LaRusso. The story incorporates a number of other characters along its way and gains momentum around the relationships and conflicts that root back to Johnny and Daniel’s past rivalry and their stubbornness to let it go. Cobra Kai is created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. Keep reading to know more about the fifth season of the show.

Cobra Kai Season 5: Plot and Cast

The plot of season 5 takes off at the All Valley Tournament where something shocking happened. Terry Silver is aiming at nothing but to expand the empire of Cobra Kai by making his “No Mercy” karate style the only practicing one in town. Kreese is in jail and Johnny is taking his time off from karate to fix the damage that he’d caused. LaRusso is in dire need of an old pal, the only one who can help him now.

The primary cast of Cobra Kai is retained for Season 5 and includes Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso, Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso, Jacob Bertrand as Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz, Gianni DeCenzo as Demetri Alexopoulos, Martin Kove as John Kreese, Peyton List as Tory Nichols, Vanessa Rubio as Carmen Diaz, and Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver. Joining the main cast would be Yuji Okumoto as Chozen Toguchi, Sean Kanan as Mike Barnes, and Dallas Dupree Young as Kenny Payne. The cast also includes Hannah Kepple as Moon, Rose Bianco as Rosa Diaz, Diora Baird as Shannon Keene, Bret Ernst as Louie LaRusso Jr., Joe Seo as Kyler Park, Annalisa Cochrane as Yasmine, Griffin Santopietro as Anthony LaRusso, Bo Mitchell as Brucks, Owen Morgan as Bert, Nathaniel Oh as Nathaniel, Aedin Mincks as Mitch, Khalil Everage as Chris, Paul Walter Hauser as Raymond “Stingray”, Milena Rivero as Lia Cabrera, Oona O’Brien as Devon Lee, and Brock Duncan as Zach Thompson.
