After failing ventures, destroying markets, colonizing countries, and going on a killing spree, COVID-19 shows its tyranny in the entertainment industry. The hit TV series ‘THE FLASH’ was recently put on hold due to the cancellation of productions amidst the Covid-19 outbreak. The currently running season 6 will air its 17th episode on 28th April and its 18nth episode on 5th may, after that the show will go on halt.

When will Flash be back?
The dates have not yet been confirmed, but it will return later in 2020 for the season finale. Also, this year, the season will be shorter with only 20 episodes rather than the traditional 22.
If not FLASH, then what?
The new DC inspired show from the Arrowverse- STARGIRL will take the Tuesday slot of ‘THE FLASH’. STARGIRL features a hero created by Geoff Johns and Lee Moder. It is not as serious as other superhero shows have been this year, Stargirl’s character was inspired by Geoff Johns’ sister, who was a witty woman.
Changes on ‘THE FLASH’:
Other than the new costume, they have also changed the showrunner, Todd Helbing is replaced by Eric Wallace. Eric Wallace has been the producer of a hit TV show ‘Teen Wolf’. “From his first day on The Flash, Todd Helbing has been a leader on the show, beloved by the cast and crew for his exceptional talent, vision, and wonderful attitude.
