It seems like Patrick is never going to be relieved of his work. Hulu decided to never leave him alone. The streaming platform on June 18, 2020, renewed the series for another season. Voice Cast of Crossing Swords Season 2

Season one premiered with the voices of Adam Ray, Alanna Ubach, Luke Evans, Seth Green, Brecklin Meyer, Tony Hale, Adam Pally, Tara Strong, and Yvonette Nicole Brown. Considering the immediate renewal of the show, the same artists can be hired to voice the characters in the animated show.

Do you remember Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken? The makers of that series are the makers and executive producers of the new season. John Harvatine IV and Tom Root continue to play a key role in the series. Eric Towner, Green, Matthew Senrich share the executive producer chairs.

The show follows young Patrick who works under the king. The subjects don’t like the king. Nicholas Hoult beautifully portrays young Patrick. Hulu’s storyline reads: “Patrick is a good-hearted peasant who lands a coveted squire position at the royal castle however his dream job quickly turns into a nightmare when he learns his beloved kingdom is run by a hornet’s nest of horny monarchs, crooks, and charlatans. Even worse, Patrick’s valor made him the black sheep in his family, and now his criminal siblings have returned to make his life hell. War, murder, full-frontal nudity—who knew brightly colored peg people led such exciting lives?”

Release of Crossing Swords Season 2

It is too early to predict the release date of the new season of Crossing Swords. It seems like Hulu needs some time to celebrate the early renewal first and then proceed on making the show. Considering the current pandemic situation, live-action shows are difficult to make. That’s why many creators are working on animated shows in which they can work remotely. Hulu, apart from announcing Crossing Swords Season 2, also announced the renewal of Solar Opposites.

Fans say that Crossing Swords is more like Game of Thrones. But we need to wait to see if the same perception continues with the new season.
