Crysis Remastered – Is there any Release Date Leaked?

Crysis is a shooting game designed by Crytek and distributed for Windows by Electronic Arts, launched in November 2007. It’s the first title in the Crysis series. In 2008, similar events as Crysis but with a different narrative viewpoint, a new game called Crysis Warhead was released.

The game is based on a future in which a huge, ancient alien-built fortress was found hidden within a mountain on the fictitious Lingshan Islands on the east Philippine coastline. The single-player game has a U.S. position assumed by the character. Soldier Jake Dunn, of the Army Delta Force, refers to in-game by his call sign, Nomad.

Crysis was published at the time, and years later it was lauded in graphic design for its achievements.

The remaster is being co-developed with Saber Interactive under the title Crysis Remastered, with a scheduled Summer 2020 date.

Release Date?

If a listing on the Australian Microsoft Store is to be trusted, Crysis Remastered could be scheduled for a late July update. The release date of the Crysis Remastered leaked comes days before the developer’s gameplay announced for the open-world FPS which was initially released for PC in the late 2000s.

Platforms

On April 16, 2020, Crytek reported the remastering of the game for the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch and Windows, including updated graphical features, effects, and technology-based ray tracing.

The Crysis Remastered gameplay video is due to be released on July 1. Crysis Remastered is scheduled to be available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows in addition to Xbox One.

Gameplay Trailer

Crytek announced that Crysis Remastered was expected to have an official gameplay release later this week. The chance may have presented the developer with the ideal opportunity to share details about when fans of the franchise could have the revitalized take on the original title in their hands, but the game’s shop page seems to have beaten the studio to the punch.

The page on YouTube does not include any further information, saying that the redone game will feature “remastered graphics updated for a new hardware generation”. The website is sticking to “coming soon” for now. Nonetheless, the Crysis Twitter account indicated we ‘re going to get it in our hot little hands soon, saying, “The wait is close.”

The page for the Windows Store claims Crysis Remastered will be released on July 23. Fans wanting to catch the game before its final release will be able to test out the revelation’s footage on Wednesday, July 1.

Crysis Remastered is the first self-published game in the franchise from Crytek too. EA initially published all three of the original Crysis games, as well as spinoff Warhead. Although the most recent releases by the studio, such as Hunt: Showdown, were published separately.

Announced back in April, with an extended teaser, Crysis Remastered is expected to have its first gameplay release on Wednesday. By the end of it, the release date of the game may be revealed.
