Curon: New Italian horror drama series from Netflix!
Netflix is collecting stories from every corner of the world. It seems it had stocked up enough series and movies to outlive the pandemic. So many series in these many different languages and locations is simply astounding. This time Netflix has brought up a new Italian horror drama Curon for its global audiences.
Curon is based in as the name suggests Curon Venosta, a town in Italy with special emphasis on its bell tower. The iconic bell tower is now what remains after lake Resia submerged the remaining area. The tower stands as a sad reminder of the displaced inhabitants. The story revolves around a woman named Anna who returns to Curon with her twins. Later the Anna disappears and twins Mauro and Daria searching her. The twins stumble upon the unknown past of their family.
The series is directed by Fabio Mollo and Lyda Patitucci. The screenplay is written by Ezio Abbate with help from Ivano Fachin, Giovanni Galassi, and Tommaso Matano. The series is produced by Indiana Productions.
