Deadly Premonition is a game created by Access Games. Set in the fictitious, rural American city of Greenvale, Washington. A sequel was announced in September 2019, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise, for the Nintendo Switch.
It is released on the 10th of July 2020. Based in Boston in 2019, the storyline will center on Aaliyah Davis. An FBI agent who is re-opening an old investigation. Her story would be intertwined with that of Francis York Morgan, 14 years ago in Le Carré, New Orleans.
Problems with the Game
Deadly Premonition 2 is finally here but early game reviews show that the sequel is hampered with some truly disappointing technical problems. Rising Star Games reported that there are updates in the works for the new Nintendo Switch Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise.
In the last 24 hours or so, there has been speculation over a patch to address the bad results of the game, with many reviewers alleging long load times and low frame rates.
Game developer and author Hidetaka Suehiro, known as Swery, has posted on the frame rate condition in a live stream of Deadly Premonition 2. There won’t be a patch published in time for the release date. Swery will take into account the thoughts and points of everyone. He’ll negotiate with the developer to get it done after the release of the game at some point.

Yet with Deadly Premonition 2, the main technological challenge is the frame rate of the game. The frame rate of Deadly Premonition 2 is far below optimal. At worse, the game slows so terribly that it causes a form of “slideshow” effect which can make the game almost unplayable.
It appears like the developer is aware of the issues of Deadly Premonition 2. He decides to try to do more about it sometime later.
