Devils is a financial thriller series that streams on Sky Atlantic as well as The CW channel. Alessandro Sermoneta, Mario Ruggeri, Elena Bucaccio, Barbara Petronio, Ezio Abbate, Daniele Cesarano, and Guido Maria Berra created the show for Sky Atlantic and Orange Cinema Studio. Devils: Plot and Cast
Massimo Ruggero, an Italian man, is the Head of Trading at a huge American bank called the New York-London Bank, better known as NYL. Even though financial crisis in Europe, Ruggero makes a lot of money with his strong speculative abilities.
His mentor, Dominic Morgan, is the CEO of NYL and is American. He is also a father figure to Ruggero and supports him fully when it comes to everything. Therefore, it is likely that Morgan will choose Ruggero as his vice-CEO.
However, when Ruggero gets involved in a terrible scandal involving his ex-wife becoming a prostitute, his reputation becomes at stake. He is denied the promotion to vice-CEO and Edward Stewart, another banker, is chosen instead.
Ruggero is appalled at first at the inattention that his mentor Dominic Morgan shows him. He becomes a bit resentful and is convinced that someone orchestrated the scandal to bring him down. As he is about to search for the truth, Edward Stewart dies, and Ruggero realises that the game being played is bigger than just him.
Alessandro Borghi plays Massimo Ruggero, Patrick Dempsey plays Dominic Morgan and Ben Miles plays Edwart Stewart. Other cast members are Malachi Kirby, Kasia Smutniak, Laia Costa and Lars Mikkelsen.
Devils Season 2: Release Date and Trailer
While the release date for season 2 hasn’t been set yet, Season 1 is about to premiere on The CW on October 7, 2020.
