Diablo 4: Release date, Storyline and all you need to know about!

Diablo is an action-playing hack and slash video game created by Blizzard North, and launched in January 1997 by Blizzard Entertainment. The popularity of the game resulted in two sequels: Diablo II in 2000 and Diablo III in 2012. Diablo 4 is an upcoming multiplayer dungeon crawler adventure role-playing game published by Blizzard Entertainment, the fourth installment in the Diablo franchise.

It has been eight years since its first update of Diablo 3, and, as you’d imagine, everyone is dying to figure out more about another epic loot quest in Diablo 4. Blizzard officially revealed Diablo 4 in Blizzcon 2019, after years of rumors.

Plot

The daughter of Mephisto, Lilith, becomes the main villain. She is the Queen of Succubi (female monsters) and the founder of the sanctuary realm, along with the angel Inarius.

There’s a lot of gameplay info to look into, there’s a new open-world environment. Blizzard has extensive customization plans, including plans to customize the Diablo 4 skills slots. Although Diablo III added separate genders to roles, Diablo IV would require more detailed player appearance modification, such as selecting a character profile or the skin color of the character. Mount presentation can be personalized as well.

The game includes an open world map with all the features you’re expecting in real life, and there’ll be a campaign where you’re going to loot your way out from one of the five classes, and it appears like three classes is already revealed.

Release Date

When asked about the Diablo 4 release date, creative director Luis Barriga states that “a game of this nature takes time” and that the title won’t be “coming out early.”

The title was revealed at BlizzCon on 1 November 2019. Blizzard Entertainment has not confirmed any release date, but some analysts expect that it will release during 2021.

The game will be primarily developed for new gaming platforms including PS4, XboxOne, PS5, and Xbox X games. The design company hired people to take a good look at the production of the gameplay environment of the title.

Conclusion

2020 seems to be a little hope if we are shockingly honest. For a guide, Blizzard revealed Diablo 3 back in 2008; it wasn’t till May 2012 that it got released. It would seem extremely powerful for Blizzard to release Diablo 4 just months after his formal announcement. However, with the amount of game footage we’ve seen, it isn’t out of the scope of possibility.

There is also a possibility that Blizzard will release an Early Access version or sorts of preview before launch. This way, it seems unlikely that Diablo 4 will be released in 2020.
