Did Black Widow do a cameo role in Ant-Man?

Remember the scene from Ant-Man when Falcon/Sam quarrels with Ant-Man when he tries to enter the Avengers Headquarters? Scott beats him up and finally defeats him. Then Falcon speaks through his headset to someone-“ It’s really important to me that Cap never finds out about his.” It is one of the funniest scenes in Ant-Man facilitated by Sam Wilson. Did Black Widow do a cameo role in Ant-Man? Here is the answer.
Ever wondered whom he talks to? Fans suggest that it could be a War Machine. But wild guesses point to a random member in New Avengers Facility or one of the six Avengers. However, a recent tweet from Peyton Reed, the director of Ant-Man gives us an unexpected answer. He says that Falcon speaks to Natasha/ Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson.
What’s the tweet about?
@MrPeytonReed I have a question for you, on @Antman
who was falcon talking too when he didn't want Cap finding out about him getting his butt kicked? #AntMan— Anni Is Locked Down! (@AnniBananniMixr) May 2, 2020
Peyton Reed was answering questions posted by fans and one of the fans asked him, “To whom did Falcon say not to let Captain know of his getting kicked?” To which the director who has directed Ant-Man and the Wasp, Yes Man, Bring it on, The Break-up, Upright Citizens Brigade, and much more, has replied, “Great question. He speaks to Natasha”.
It is so surprising to hear this from him and at the same time so entertaining that he had Black Widow in his mind while he shot this scene. Hence, it is clear that Scarlett Johansson has played an off-screen cameo role in the Ant-Man movie.
Ant-Man: A Recap
It was in 2015, the MCU fans were introduced to Scott Lang, the Ant-Man played by Paul Rudd. The film also shows the father-daughter duo- Hope Van Dyne and Hank Pym brought to us by Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly. Ant-Man movies are known for cameo roles and we find a plethora of roles. To name a few-Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter and John Slattery as Howard Stark [Iron-Man’s Father]
‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ which was released in 2018 is a sequel to Ant-Man. It is important for two points. One, portraying Lilly’s character name in the title of the film thereby making it the first film to do so. Two, introducing Hope’s mother-Janet Van Dyne [Michelle Pfeiffer]
When is the third sequel?
The third part of Ant-Man is already under production. It is expected of the new film to introduce a new super-villain for MCU fans. He will be the next atrocious villain Avengers have to face. We do not have official information on its release date but the announcement is anticipated to arrive soon.
Now coming back to the Off-screen cameo role, who knows? Scarlett Johansson could have reported the Falcon incident to Captain America as against Sam’s request.
