So Shane Walsh, Rick’s trusted friend takes Lori and Carl, her son into safe custody. But they end up injured in a quarry along with another group. During this time, Lori and Shane feel attracted to each other and a relationship begins. But Lori has to put an end to it owing to Rick’s return.

Lori discovers her pregnancy. She bears Shane’s child but vows to hide this truth completely. So her children would grow up as Rick’s children only. When she suffers from the labor, she asks Maggie and Carl, her young son to help her. They act bravely to facilitate childbirth. Unfortunately, Lori dies out of labor.
