The Japanese manga anime series has been written and illustrated by Q Hayashida. And season one has already been premiered and hence, fans are asking for season two. And, we have got some information for you about the renewal of the anime series.

What about Dorohedoro renewal? Has it been renewed?

Dorohedoro, though the series is Netflix’s original one, it still doesn’t have all rights to them to decide whether it should be renewed or not for their platform.

And we’ve got a reason for that as well, actually, the creators do. So, the anime will come back on one condition. And that would be, the basis of the ratings and reviews the first season has and will receive.

When the first season was underwriting and creating, the second season was not even thought of renewing. Hence, it is said that the first season will decide the fortune of the second season.

According to sources, Yuichiro Hayashi, the director of the series, once said that the performance of the season one will be responsible for season two renewal. Well, it looks like it’s too much pressure on season 1 then.

Anime TV on January 7 this year, took to its Twitter page to tell the fans the decision for the renewal of the show.

The tweet says that – “Dorohedoro the director has also promised that support of the first season will lead to the greenlighting of further production (season 2).”

Not to mention, but the anime series indeed will gather a good fan following after releasing the show worldwide. And, the anime fans worldwide wouldn’t be able to hold themselves but watch the series.

However, if this series spreads wider then we can expect to see it for season 2.

When will Dorohedoro season 2 release on Netflix?

Now as we all know, the creators would take the decision of renewing the show based on the performance of season one. Then, that tells us to wait to hear the decision from them.
