Developed by Ashley Edward Miller, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is an adult animated epic fantasy streaming television series. It is based on Dota 2, a 2013 MOBA video game by Valve.
The first season of the series premiered on Netflix on March 25, 2021, followed by the second season on January 18, 2022. Netflix renewed the series for a third season, which is set to release very soon.

DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Plot and Cast
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is based on Valve’s popular MOBA title, Dota 2. Produced by Studio Mir, it first premiered on Netflix in March 2021. Plot for the season 3 has not been revealed yet.
The basic plot has Dragon Knight, a popular Dota 2 hero as its protagonist. Dragon Knight, also known as Davion, hunts and slays dragons. However, in his attempt to slay the dragon race of Eldwurm, an elder dragon merged himself with Davion’s soul. The series also features other heroes like Mirana, Terrorblade, Luna, and Invoker.
Now coming to the cast, includes Yuri Lowenthal as Davion: a Dragon Knight, Lara Pulver as Princess Mirana, Tony Todd as Slyrak, Troy Baker as Invoker, and Freya Tingley as Fymryn. We will also get to see Josh Keaton as Bram, Kari Wahlgren as Luna, Alix Wilton Regan as Selemen, Stephanie Jacobsen as Drysi, Anson Mount as Kaden, and many others.
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 3 Release Date
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 3 will release on the 11th of August 2022. Netflix has not announced the full list of episodes for the third season of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood.
However, both the first and second seasons had eight episodes. It won’t surprise us to see the third season having the same number of episodes like the previous seasons.
