Produced by Pixar in honour of International Dog Day, “Dug Days” is a spin-off of the movie Up and takes place after the events of the film as it focuses on Dug and Carl as they reside in Suburbia, the first season of which premieres on Wednesday, 1 September 2021, on Disney+.
The series consists of 5 shorts, that follows the humorous misadventures of Dug, the lovable dog from Pixar’s “Up.” Each short features everyday events that occur in and around Dug’s backyard, all through the exciting (and delightfully distorted) eyes of our favourite talking dog.
On the series’ official page on Disney+, three cast members have been confirmed as voicing roles in the series. Bob Peterson is the first actor to reprise his role, and he will voice the Dug. Also appearing will be Edward Asner, who will be back as the voice of the character, Carl Fredrickson.
The page also listed Jordan Nagai who is expected to reprise his role of Russell, but as of now, we are uncertain if he is taking on the character or not but we can surely hope he does.
