EA Sports UFC 4 – Release Date, Improvements and more!

UFC 4 will be the next installment of the famous fighting series.

With EA introducing EA Sports UFC 4 to PS4 and Xbox One in less than two weeks, the company felt it was about time to reveal what MMA players would expect in this career mode version of the title.

Players can see their personalized fighter rise in strength based on how they practice as well as how they fight and, more than ever, their interaction with other fighters and fans can play a significant role in the game as players will opt to play in the game in a variety of ways.

Release Date

UFC 4 launches on August 14th, with EA Access users eligible to register on August 7th. It has also been reported that it will be available with the next-gen consoles that will be launched later this year.

Improvements

EA also addressed technical enhancements, including take-down & clinch regulation being improved by natural player motion technologies.

The trailer revealed much more convincing and high-quality fighter graphics. Over 220 athletes will be open to players when the game is released.

Adjustments have been made to the previous edition, with the Ultimate Team mode being dropped. However, the added feature to build a warrior would allow players the chance to develop a special character that can be used in the Octagon against other players.

New to UFC 4, gamers can now explore four different worlds, including The Kumite, The Backyard, UFC Apex, and Combat Street, or challenge the world to become an undisputed champion in the upcoming Blitz Battles or Online World Championships.

New Stadiums

Play it out in the backyard or surround yourself with the traditional Kumite tradition, both can be done at any of UFC 4’s new locations. Plus, fight on UFC Apex and Operation Path. Whether you’re influenced by backyard brawlers or guerrilla fighters, your combat style would be formed by these modern, immersive worlds.

Blitz Fight

This fast-paced mode pits you against other online warriors playing in a six-round fast-fire match. The regular rotating of the collection of rules keeps the interaction fresh and the rivalry hot.

It has been announced that UFC veterans Jorge Masvidal and Israel Adesanya will share the front cover of UFC 4. It was Conor McGregor who was featured on the UFC 3 front cover.
