Written by Mark Boal, Echo 3 is an upcoming drama television series. The series is based on the Israeli television series When Heroes Fly and inspired by the novel When Heroes Fly by Amir Gutfreund.
Boal is also the executive producer alongside Jason Horwitch, Peter Traugott, Stan Wlodkowski, Omri Givon, Eitan Mansuri, Jonathan Doweck, Avi Nir, and Alon Shtruzman, and Karni Ziv. The series is set to premiere on Apple TV+.

Echo 3 Plot and Cast
Echo 3 is set in South America and follows Amber Chesborough, a brilliant young scientist, who is the emotional center of a small American family.
When she goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother and her husband — two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts — struggle to find her in a layered, personal drama, set against the explosive backdrop of a secret war.
The 10-part series is based on the award-winning Keshet Broadcasting series When Heroes Fly, created by Omri Givon and inspired by the eponymous novel by Amir Gutfreund. Given a straight-to-series order by Apple last July, Echo 3 will be shot with English and Spanish dialogue.
Now coming to the cast, includes Jessica Ann Collins as Amber Chesborough, Luke Evans as Bambi, Michiel Huisman as Prince, Elizabeth Anweis as Natalie Foster, and Fahim Fazli. as AL Qaeda Commander.
Echo 3 Release Date
In July 2020, Apple announced that it had given a 10-episode straight-to-series order for Echo 3, to be produced by Apple and Keshet Studios.
Production for Echo 3 began on June 9, 2021, and is scheduled to conclude on February 1, 2022. The release date of the series has not been announced yet.
