Fortnite Season 3

Epic Games revealed that Fortnite Season 3 will be released on June 17. Although the ‘Device’ live-action has been postponed until June 15, when many U.S. cities are mourning the death of George Floyd, in Minnesota. Chapter 2, Season 3 is now being postponed 3 times. The season was planned to be introduced on June 6 and then was moved to June 11.

Season 3 and ‘Device’ Delays

Epic creative director Donald Mustard said in a tweet that studio has more than 1,000 people who work at Fortnite from the residence.

It is the third break of season 3. It was postponed for the first time back in April and postponed for another week on May 28. Fortnite had an event that was originally planned for Saturday, May 6, and has now been postponed to Monday, June 15. Previous delays were to ensure that the season was ready for release.

Fortnite Season 3 will be released on June 17, shortly after the conclusion of Season 2. The War Pass challenges are available to be completed before the new date. The Device known as the Doomsday event will eventually take place on June 15th.

The ‘SypherPK’ pro-Fortnite player shared his views on Twitter. He says the planet is in a pandemic situation while battling inequality. He also says the season is coming, so now is the time to be cautious and respectful.

Although the extra delay is going to be frustrating for the most committed players. It will also make the final announcement even more rewarding. Now that Season 2 is running for a few more weeks. Epic says there’s going to be a lot of extra content coming out to the series. They have multiple updates that introduce fresh matches, different tasks, XP bonuses, and a couple more surprises on the way!

What Changes Might Happen?

It’s speculated that The Device might transfer parts of the map underwater, and that’s what a recent Fortnite Season 3 leak pointed to.

Unlike Season 2’s full reboot of Fortnite, one doesn’t know if Season 3 will feature significant gameplay improvements. However, data miners have discovered specifics of more underwater gameplay and cross-breeding.

Dataminers had an intimate look about what sections of the map could shift after the Device event. The illuminated part of Rickey Reels, Madness Field, Lazy Bay, The Shark, and a range of other nearby water spots that could be flooded or drastically modified in many areas.

Battle Pass

Players will have a little more time to access skin variants for Brutus, Meowscles, and Maya as of now Season 3 has been postponed. New details on the Season 3 Battle Pass haven’t been confirmed yet, though it’s reasonable to assume a few stuff.

The Fortnite season 3 battle pass may still be 950 V-Bucks for the standard edition, just like most of the passes before it. The Battle Bundle edition is expected to cost 2,500 V-Bucks. The Battle Package version will instantly let you skip the first 25 thirds of the war ride, unlocking all items inside those thirds immediately.

Many other scheduled tech and gaming activities have been postponed or canceled due to conflicts in the US. Electronic Arts postponed an event for the famous Madden NFL game, Google postponed an Android launch and Sony scheduled a PS5 event.
