Everything I Know About Love is a television drama adapted from Dolly Alderton’s memoir that goes by the same title. The writer penned down her experiences and views of the time when she was in her 20s and that won her the National Book Award for autobiography in 2018 and a nomination at the British Book Awards in Non-Fiction Narrative Book category in 2019. This explains enough why her book is considered to be the manual of the 20s and is being adapted into a television series. Keep reading to know more about the upcoming romantic-comedy drama.

Everything I Know About Love: Plot and Cast

The tale is that of closely-knit friends, amazing night outs, drained bank accounts, horrible first dates, even more horrible one-night stands, and much more stuffs alike. The story is set in 2012, when Maggie, along with her best friend Birdy, have just set their feet in London. The plot mainly revolves around Maggie, one among the four friends who all share a house that doesn’t look like one belonging to people in their 20s. All the four friends cannot keep themselves calm as they go out to experience everything that the hyped metropolis possibly has to offer, with Maggie being the one to be the most eager of all. She is someone who doesn’t only party hard, but also often. Following the words of Birdy, Maggie is a genuine fun-loving girl who’s into skinny dipping and putting on bandanas and also loves to play snooker in pubs. The story of Everything I Know About Love spreads the message that one can learn rather more about love from friends and friendships than they can from a romantic relationship itself.

The cast of Everything I Know About Love includes Emma Appleton as Maggie, Bel Powley as Birdy, Aliyah Odoffin as Amara, Marli Siu as Nell, Jill Halfpenny as Roisin, Ryan Bown as Nathan, Jordan Peters as Neil, Jeanie Hackman as Jade, Yolanda Grace as Bella, Shane Zaza as Simon, Savannah Acquah as TJ, Daisy Jacob as Teenage Maggie, Izabella Cresci as Teenage Birdy, Alexander Lincoln as Rege, Jack Waldouck as Kyle, Isabel Mackinson as, Young Maggie Emma Franklin as Young Birdy, and Gaia Mondadori as Bohemia.
