Everything You Need to Know about Jungle Cruise!

Jungle Cruise is an upcoming American adventure film directed by Jaume Collet Serra, based on Glenn Ficarra  & John Requa’s novel, and a script written by Michael Green, Ficarra and Requa, based on Walt Disney’s theme park attraction of the same name. Created by Walt Disney Pictures, the film stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Édgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.
It was revealed in September 2004 that Jungle Cruise would be produced for Mandeville Films, with a script by Josh Goldstein  & John Norville. The film was loosely influenced by the attraction of the theme park of the same name. The film was announced to take place in the twentieth century. In February 2011, it was announced that Toy Story stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen would be starring in a long-running film, with a screenplay to be produced by Roger S. H. Schulman.
Principal photography began on 14 May 2018 in Hawaii and Atlanta. Filming wrapped up after a few months on September 14. Joel Negron is a video editor for DNEG, Industrial Light & Magic, Rodeo FX, Rising Sun Pictures and Weta Digital providing visual effects.

Jungle Cruise Plot?

Set in the early twentieth century, a riverboat captain named Frank takes a scientist and her brother on a mission to the jungle to locate the Tree of Life that is supposed to possess healing powers. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition. Dr. Lily Houghton enlists the assistance of Skipper Frank Wolff to carry her down the Amazon in his ramshackle voyage. Together they are hunting for an ancient tree that holds the ability to cure.

Jungle Cruis Cast?

In this movie, Dwayne Johnson as Frank who is a shrewd but just riverboat captain. Emily Blunt is seen as Dr. Lily Houghton, an eccentric but adventurous and virtuous scientist searching for a tree’s magical cure. Jack Whitehall plays the role of McGregor Houghton, Lily’s younger brother. Paul Giamatti plays the role of Brooks and Andy Nyman plays Sir James Hobbs-Cunningham. Simone Lockhart plays the character of Anna.

Jungle Cruise Release Date?

Jungle Cruise is scheduled to release Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on July 30, 2021.
