Everything you need to know about ‘Sweet Magnolias’!

Netflix has come up with a new web series, Sweet Magnolias, an American romance drama, based on the novel Sweet Magnolias by Sherryl Woods. The show is created by Sheryl J.Anderson and was premiered on May 19, 2020, consisting a total of 10 episodes.

You know the show is going to be great when the opening lines of the trailer are:

“My life is insane. I am holding it together with duct tape and happy thoughts.” 

The plot revolves around 3 adults, Maddie, Dana and Helen, who are best friends since high-school and they have each other’s back through thick and thin. One struggles with marriage, another with family bonding and the third with the job of a chef. The three come together to start a business that they always dreamt of. The show believes that “some hearts are too big to break“, “some friendships are too strong to fail“, “some connections are too powerful to ignore” and one should always “raise a glass to new beginnings“.

The beautiful thing about Sweet Magnolias is that the episodes are named in such a way that they give a life message to all of us, like that of “Pour it out“, “Dance first, think later” or “Storms and Rainbows“.
