Everything you need to know about the season two of Messiah~ cast, plot and release date
Netflix’s original, and one of the controversial show, ‘Messiah’ is an American thriller drama about a charismatic man who has certain followers, and they firmly believe that this man can perform miracles in this modern age of technology. The CIA officer investigates this man as to find whether this man is a dangerous con artist or divine figure. The show is created by Michael Petroni, and was released on 1st January 2020 consisting of 10 episodes.

Release Date
Though the show is controversial, it got an intriguing plot and the first season gained a high number of viewers worldwide. Keeping an eye on the reviews which were definitely not in favor of Messiah so, Netflix didn’t renew the show for another season. But the creators of the show was considering another season of Messiah. It’s anticipated that if Netflix approves for season two of Messiah then the production will be started working in the fall of 2020 and the new season will be released in the summer of 2021.
Cast
The main cast of Messiah who will be reprising their roles in the next season, if it gets renewed, are as follows, Mehdi Debih as Al-Masih, Tomer Sisley as Aviram Dahan, Michelle Monaghan as CIA officer Eva Geller, John Ortiz as Felix Iguero, Melinda Page Hamilton as Anna Iguero, Jane Adams as Miriam Keneally, Fares Landousli as Samir, Wil Travals as Will Mathers, Sayyid El Amami as Jibril Medina, and Stefanie Lavie Owen as Rebecca Iguero. It’s highly possible that the new characters will be added in the upcoming season.

Plot of the new season
The finale episode of the first season of Messiah ended dramatically with a cliffhanger from where the next season’s plot will pick up. The officer will investigate further about Al-Masih’s strength and power and will try to find about his identity. Al-Masih followers will increase, and he will look out for his followers’ help either for good or evil that we’ve to find out in the next season.
