The above goes the official description of the show Ugly Delicious on Netflix. We already have thousands of food shows all over the world, in different languages, on different channels. The chefs or passion foodies embarks on appetizing adventures (and even makes us jealous) and discovers the culture and origin of the delicacies. Then how come this show is different from others? Rather than just bringing specific places to light, the episodes are dedicated to various popular foods and digging up their origins and consumption patterns over the globe. The first season premiered on February 23, 2018, with host David Chang and on November 22, 2018, it was renewed for a second season, which premiered on March 6, 2020. The eight-episode docuseries follows the Momofuku founder around the globe looking at what we eat as the bridge between cultures.
