Everything’s Gonna Be Okay is a comedy television series. The series has been created by Australian comedian Josh Thomas. He has previously created, written, directed and starred in the semi-autobiographical award-winning series Please Like Me. Everything’s Gonna Be Okay has been distributed by Avalon Distribution. The first season had 10 episodes with a running time of 20 to 45 minutes each. The first season of Everything’s Gonna Be Okay premiered on 16th January 2020.

Overall, the series has received positive reviews from critics. Everything’s Gonna Be Okay has an approval rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and has scored 80 out of 100 on Metacritic. The series has also received decent feedback from the audience. New episodes are made available on Hulu and Freeform On Demand on the day after they air.

Everything’s Gonna Be Okay was renewed for a second season in May 2020. There were a lot of difficulties in terms of production since the whole world was under lockdown as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Sloly when things started getting back to normal, production and filming was completed. Fans of the series would be happy to know that the second season premiered on 8th April 2021. Three episodes have aired till now and the fourth one will premiere on 22nd April 2021.

Plot of Everything’s Gonna Be Okay Season 2

The second season of Everything’s Gonna Be Okay will see Nicholas continues trying to parent his teenage half-sisters. He is an Australian in his twenties, who visits his American father and two teenage half sisters in Los Angeles. During his visit, he gets to know that their father is terminally ill and wants Nicholas to become the guardian to Genevieve and Matilda, because their mother is already dead.
