From the creators of The Good Wife comes another exciting supernatural thriller drama series titled Evil. Created by Robert King and Michelle King, the series is produced by CBS Television Studios and King Size Productions. The good news is CBS has renewed the show for a second season in October 2019. Season 1 of the show has gained high ratings on IMDb (8/10). The show is intriguing as it unites crime and supernatural in a box. “Smartly-written and effectively unsettling, Evil works best when it dares to delve into the depths of the uncomfortable questions it poses.”(Rotten Tomatoes)
The first season premiered on September 26, 2019, on CBS. Due to ongoing havoc and discomforts of the pandemic, the production of a vast number of shows are delayed, so is the case with Evil Season 2. We might have to wait for a while for the release date of season 2. However, the creative team is already seen tweeting about getting back at work as soon as things get better.

We might get to see a teaser of season 2 as soon as the filming starts. As of now, CBS has not dropped a teaser or trailer of the show.
What is it about?
Evil follows a psychologist and an (almost) priest who investigates dark and unexplained phenomenon and attempt to develop a justification, scientific, religious or spiritual. The story is about “A sceptical forensic psychologist (Herbers) allies with a Catholic seminarian (Colter) and a technology contractor (Mandvi) to investigate purported supernatural incidents.”(Source- wiki). The story of Evil aims at scaring people by using horror kind and accompanying psychological investigations on psychopaths. It is too early to anticipate the storyline of season 2. we might have to wait for an official trailer release to understand the happenings.
