Directed by the creator Scott Z. Burns for Apple TV+, Extrapolations is an upcoming American anthology drama series. It is an anthology series that depicts the effects of climate change on the planet from various points of view through interconnected stories.

Burns is also the executive producer alongside Michael Ellenberg, Dorothy Fortenberry, Gregory Jacobs, and Lindsey Springer. The series will be released soon on Apple TV+.

Extrapolations Plot and Cast

Not much has been stated regarding the plot, but much is still to be said about the overall story. The series will follow several characters as they provide their very human perspective of how the expected climate changes will affect their lives as they are.

Each of the characters will provide an important element to the entire story as their pieces are interconnected and will come together to form a cohesive and proper whole. The mystery series will focus on how the expected changes in climate in the coming decades will influence human life.

Instead of focusing on how everything will change In the ecosystem, the series will focus on how the climatic changes will affect human relationships, work, and faith through a telling from the perspectives of multiple individuals ranging from children to older women.

Now coming to the cast, it includes Meryl Streep, Sienna Miller as Rebecca Shearer, Kit Harington as Nicholas Bilton, Tahar Rahim as Ezra Haddad, and Matthew Rhys as Junior. We will also get to see Daveed Diggs as Marshall Zucker, Gemma Chan as Natasha Alper, David Schwimmer as Harris Goldblatt, Adarsh Gourav as Gaurav, and Forest Whitaker as August Bolo, and others.

Extrapolations Release Date

In January 2020 it was announced that Scott Z. Burns had been developing an anthology series. It was eventually greenlit in December for a ten-episode season.

Filming for the series had begun by October 2021 in New York City and is yet to be concluded. So right now there is no official release date announced for the series.
