HGTV’s famous and most-streamed show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition had been renewed for another season! This was the 10th season of the show and was aired on 16th February 2020. The show aims at renovating houses for free for people who cannot afford to pay for the renovation.
This season like every other season intends to remodel the houses of people, families who give back to society, and work for goodwill. However, the same families are unable to remodel their own houses due to personal circumstances are given the lucky opportunity to get their house modeled to the liking of their whims and fancy by the crew of the show.
The host for this season was Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who is known for his role as Mitchell in Modern Family! Ferguson was a wonderful host and gave this revival the much-needed jazz and fun factor. He exuded happy and welcoming vibes in each of the episodes, creating a comfortable environment for the crew and the guests (families) on air.
The show had a total of 10 episodes for its revival season which ended in April 2020. Breegan Jane, Carrie Locklyn and Darren Keefe Reiher were on the design team. They worked as the remodelers for the house, laying down the possibilities of efficiently working out ways to provide the families what the wanted.
Atonia Green was the field producer for the show, Danny Jordan was the executive producer and Jen Proctor was the talent producer. Endemol Shine North America was the production company that produced the show and has produced the famous movie Jackie starring Natalie Portman.
There has been no confirmation about the possibility of season 11 under the revival series. The former hosts haven’t confirmed anything neither the producers nor the crew members. The fans, however, are actively tweeting and garnering support on social media to get the produces to renew the show for season 11.
