F1 2020 is out! Know more about the game and new features!

F1 2020 is the official game created and distributed by Codemasters for the 2020 Formula 1 and Formula 2 championships. It is the 13th game in the Formula 1 franchise produced by the company.

The game is the franchise’s 12th installment. It showcases all 22 tracks, 20 drivers, and 10 teams participating at the 2020 Formula 1 World Championship.

The game introduces two new tracks, Hanoi and Zandvoort. The all-new ‘My Team’ feature, updated on-track options, the re-introduction of split-screen, modern cars, and more.

Release Date

It was released on July 7, 2020, and on July 10, 2020, for Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia standard version.

Fans who buy the F1 2020 Seventy Version can get unique in-game products such as podium emotes, vehicle livery, and squad colors. Michael Schumacher, the legendary seven-time World Drivers’ Champion, is receiving the treatment from Codemasters this year as he steps up the Deluxe Edition.

New Features

Codemasters also introduced My Team into the excellent Career Mode as a new game mode.

It offers players the chance to build from scratch a brand new team and immerse themselves in a fresh driver-manager environment that presents a rare snapshot into the F1 culture. The decision to find a power unit, build a livery, add sponsors, get a second driver, and establish facilities for the squad comes with it.

My Team seems like the F1 manager mode most active ever.

Codemasters bring first time driver’s ratings. The driver will have a ranking, like the Formula 2 driver list, which has four categories: Experience, Racecraft, Knowledge, and Speed. More driver scores have recently been released with stars like Lewis Hamilton coming in at an incredible 94 Overall.

Codemasters has confirmed that split-screen is going to make a comeback. Although most multiplayer is online, there are still lots of moments when split-screen is required.

This year, F1 2020 will have seasons and a new Podium Pass. The Podium Pass will award you rewards for earning XP and completing tasks, equivalent to a Combat Pass. There is, of course, a premium version of the VIP Podium Pass.
