The plot of Fakes revolves around Zoe and Becca, two best friends who unintentionally fabricate a fake ID business, one that can be considered amongst the largest ones in the entire continent of North America. The business initially skyrocketed, earning them a big deal. This follows their collaboration with an employee of a shady store who transports their finished products and makes his way into the heaps of cash. Soon things start to fall apart and one of the girls ends up in jail. A story of friendships, broken friendships, success, downfall, and ultimately, betrayal, Fakes is all about the present-day world of impulse-driven actions and their respective consequences.
