Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout – Release Date and Gameplay!

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a multiplayer game created by Devolver Digital and produced by Mediatonic. There were several closed betas to the game as it approached its launch. Fall Guys took Twitch by surprise at their recent closed test, revealing that it has the ability to be a hot new game this year.

Release Date

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was revealed for Windows and PS4 at E3 in June 2019. It is expected to be released on August 4th, 2020. This was revealed before release that Fall Guys will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Gameplay

This is heavily inspired by obstacle racing video games such as Takeshi’s Castle, Wipeout or Ninja Warrior. Where 60 players have to conquer difficulties and different hazards without struggling to catch the one crown and win.

The game flings hundreds of people online together in a crazy scramble through each round of escalating mayhem before there is a winner left! Fight strange challenges, smashing through unruly opponents and breaking the unbending rules of physics as you struggle to dominance.

Some courses may allow you to dodge moving blocks while avoiding lava. Certain courses may make you partner up with other players aiming to come up with the most chicken eggs before time runs out. Just a limited number of players compete for on-course, reducing the pool down before you get to the final point. Just one guy shaped like a jelly bean will win the title.
