Hey readers! Fate: The Winx Saga is an upcoming young adult drama series based on the Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club, created by Iginio Straffi. The series produced by Rainbow S.p.A., a studio co-owned by Straffi and ViacomCBS. Iginio Straffi serves as an executive producer alongside showrunner Brian Young, Judy Counihan, and Kris Thykier. Thykier’s company, Archery Pictures, is also involved in the production.

In a 2011 interview with Screen International. Iginio Straffi first mentioned that he hoped to adapt Winx Club into live action as opposed to animation.
At the Ischia Global Fest in 2013. Straffi stated that he was continuing to plan a project “with the Winx in flesh and blood, played by real actors.
Sooner or later it will be done.” At the time, Straffi had only worked on animated productions. So he transitioned his focus to live action over the next few years.
After working as a producer for the live-action show Club 57, Straffi announced in March 2018 that a young adult adaptation of Winx Club would enter production.
Brian Young is the showrunner for the series, and executive produces with Judy Counihan, Kris Thykier, and Iginio Straffi. Lisa James Larsson and Hannah Quinn are directing the series.
