“Fauda” Season 4 on the cards? Renewal Status, Release, Cast and more!

Fauda, though lesser known than other Netflix series has sufficiently good ratings. The action thriller series has completed its three-season already. The series is now out of Israeli small screen as Netflix has bought the rights for international distribution. Hopefully the series gets its due share of appreciation from international fans and critics alike.

Fauda is an action-packed thriller series revolving around fictitious Israeli covert options. The series is created and developed by Lior Raz and Avi Issachroff. The makers have used their past experience in Israel Defence Forces as an inspiration for the series. The series revolves around Doron, a commander in a covert operations unit, and his adventures against the Hamas and its leaders.

The series was originally premiered on Israeli small screen in February 2015. Netflix picked up the rights for international distribution in 2016 for the first season. Fauda season 3 was released on Netflix on April 16, 2020.

Renewal status for Fauda season 4

According to some Israeli media sources, the series has been renewed. According to translated reports the series’ creator, Avi Issacharoff, announced last week that they are already working on a fourth season for the suspense series and the action that follows the plot of the undercover gang.

This announcement means the script is under development and points to the fact that the series has been officially renewed.

Release date for Fauda season 4

The official release date cannot be predicted now. The script is in the early stages of development. The production of the series will also get delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it will take time before normalcy returns.

Even after that when the series is ready, it will be first premiered on Israeli networks first. Only after completion in its domestic network, the series can be released by Netflix for international audiences.
