FBI: International Season 2: Release Date, Plot, and more!

Created by Dick Wolf and Derek Haas, FBI: International is an American crime television series that airs on CBS. It is the second spin-off from Dick Wolf’s drama FBI and the third series in the FBI franchise. Wolf and Haas are also the executive producers alongside Matt Olmstead, Michael Katleman, Arthur W. Forney, and Peter Jankowski.

The series follows a team of FBI agents who investigate crime and terrorism abroad. FBI: International premiered on September 21, 2021, and a full season was ordered in October 2021. In May 2022, CBS renewed the series for a second and third season and the second season is set to premiere in 2022.

Looking at the season 1 finale, one can imagine that Special Agent Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank) may be spending next season trying to sort out his feelings about what to do about his mother.

In the finale, she pretty much tells him to forget about her as she is preparing to “go dark” now that her undercover identity has been compromised. He didn’t seem that thrilled about heeding her advice. Will he spend next season searching for her in between his cases? (After all, this is a crime procedural, so he has to spend a majority of his time working the cases that will encompass each episode.)

By the way, did we mention that the assassin Forrester got into a fight with was still following him by the end of the finale episode? It looks like in addition to trying to save his mother, Forrester may need to be saved.

Again, we should have a better idea about what’s in store for not just Forrester but all the main characters as we get closer to the season premiere.

Talking the cast includes Luke Kleintank will be seen in the role of Scott Forrester, Heida Reed will be seen in the role of Jamie Kellett, Carter Redwood will be seen in the role of Andre Raines, and Vinessa Vidotto will be seen in the role of Cameron Vo.

We will also get to see Christiane Paul will be seen in the role of Katrin Jaeger, Jeremy Sisto will be seen in the role of Jubal Valentine, Zeeko Zaki will be seen in the role of OA Zidan, and many others.

On May 9, 2022, CBS renewed the series for a second and third season. The second season is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 20, at 9 pm ET/PT on CBS. The series is sandwiched between the original FBI and FBI: Most Wanted.

CBS will broadcast all of the FBI series in their respective time slots. In addition to that, fans may watch previous episodes of FBI on Paramount+ or fuboTV to get caught up on the series. Additionally, the episodes of the show are exclusively made accessible for free viewing on CBS’s official website, where they are posted after they air on the TV channel.
