Fear The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror drama television series. The show has been created by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson. The show is a spin-off to ‘The Walking Dead’ and it is based on the comic book series of the same name. The first three seasons are prequel that focuses on a blended family that starts to experience the beginning of a zombie apocalypse. The first season premiered on 23rd August 2015 and the sixth season premiered on 11th October 2020.

Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg served as the showrunners from the fourth season. The series has opened to positive reviews from critics. The show originally premiered on cable network AMC and since 22nd November 2020, the show has aired a total of 76 episodes. The show has been already renewed for a seventh season on 3rd December 2020 and the renewal was announced in the middle of the Season 6 of ‘The Walking Dead’.

The Covid-19 pandemic has slowed down the production of many shows. The Season 6 of Fear The Walking Dead premiered on October 2020 and the second half of Season 6 is yet to be released because of production delays as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. But still you can expect the seventh season in 2021, although, a confirmed release date has not been announced till now.
