Fear the Walking Dead Season 8: Release Date, Plot and more!
Published
4 years agoon
Created by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson, Fear the Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series. It is a spin-off to The Walking Dead, which is based on the comic book series of the same name by Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. Kirkman and Erickson also served as executive producers of the show alongside David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Gale Anne Hurd, Scott M. Gimple, Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg.
The first season of the show premiered on August 23, 2015. It ran for six more seasons and the latest season premiered on October 17, 2021. The show received a positive response from critics. Considering that, the show was renewed for an eighth season by the makers.
So, when is the eighth season releasing? What is the plot? Who would come back to reprise their roles? Continue reading to know further details.
Fear the Walking Dead Plot and Cast

The fan favorite character had been long-presumed dead, but she came back in the final episode of the previous season of Fear the Walking Dead, and is indeed, very much alive. How she survived, and why she is aligned with the show’s villains, will be big questions to answer for Season 8.
Meanwhile, Victor Strand was last seen thriving in the aftermath of the nuclear blast which appeared to cause suffering for everyone else. His delusions of grandeur and attempts to play god surely can’t continue much longer though, so it remains to be seen who will bring him down.
In Season 7, Alicia appeared to be succumbing to a mysterious illness that she feared would result in her becoming a zombie, but she overcome the ailment and even made amends with Victor. She then began to embark on her mission, but that may well be the last we see of the character.
It’s safe to assume that all the major players will return for Fear the Walking Dead Season 8. Morgan, Victor Strand, and of course, Madison will have big roles to play. Other characters who are likely to return are Dwight, Luciana, June, Daniel, Grace, and Sarah.
