FIFA 21: Will the upgrades have an inclusion of the VAR feature?

FIFA 21 is the official online game of EA Sports, which has been giving the vibe of playing football in real. Now that the VAR system is not yet an upgrade, it has both good and bad effects on the game. VAR is Video Assistant Referee that checks for proper modesty and ethics among players when the game is played.

Undoubtedly, FIFA is one of the most popular games and when it once faced Impact Engine simulation issues, its franchise put up a great foot forward to prove it false. Be it sales and revenues, competition, or stabilizing Impact Engine, FIFA has always been a step ahead.

Welcoming of the ULC Campaign in the game the previous year, FIFA won an advantage. Subsequently, the introduction of the street-style football mode took the game to a whole new level.  With every detail being taken care of, FIFA could very much implement the VAR.

The main question arises now. Will FIFA 21 upgrades have information about the VAR feature? As it’s just the anticipation and wish of a few players to have a VAR feature in the game, the answer is uncertain. This interest among the players developed as they got a little high-dose of playing FIFA-saga every year. It is not yet announced or rather, it’s quite early to notify about the upgrades of FIFA 21. Also, even if VAR gets implemented in the upcoming version, it will most probably be a premium feature.

VAR and its importance:

The way of using the feature when it gets fixed to the system is again a question! The developers, either will provide a convincing way of using VAR or they will provide an automatic feature that now and then judges the game. The VAR is important if you ask me because even in online games, there are unnecessary out-of-ethic incidents faced. If the feature comes to use, the players will have in mind that there’s another person checking their moves while playing. The same issue can have a negative impact as well, as a few players might feel annoyed and uncomfortable.

Also, the Brawl system has not yet come into play. So, the re-evaluation of fowls, misconducts, and offsides can be directly taken care of by the VAR bypassing Brawl. But the other way round can also be anticipated. So, the confirmed news will be updated as soon as FIFA notifies its next version’s upgrades.
