The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has been particularly bad for the entertainment industry. Almost all movies and series under production were brought to an abrupt halt. The huge crew required for production work continues to remain necessary and managing social distancing norms is difficult on film sets. However, the lockdown cannot go on forever. The economic loss in absence is huge. The governments have realized this and have started easing restrictions. Even production houses and studios have resumed some of their projects.
The makers of Peaky Blinders have also benefitted with ease in restrictions announced by the UK government. The series was about to shoot its sixth season when the world was hit by the pandemic. Now as normalcy returns, filming of Peaky Blinders season 6 might begin soon.
