Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is set for a worldwide release in August!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is an action playing game created by The Game Designers Studio which Nintendo released in Japan in 2003, and North America, Europe, and Australia in 2004.

Release Date

The game was initially reported for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 with a late release in 2019. Later on the game was confirmed for smartphones for iOS and Android as well. It was initially set for release in January 2020. But the expected release was postponed to allow the development team to further refine the game. The game is now scheduled for a worldwide release on 27 August 2020.

Gameplay

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is a new and enhanced edition of the original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.

The action RPG is set in a world under attack from a highly poisonous substance called Miasma. You act as a young hero who explores the globe in search of the rare and precious liquid myrrh, joined by a Moogle partner or up to three other friends.

The player’s single-player campaign escorts the vessel holding the crystal’s resources, defends it from enemies, and solves puzzles for advancement. The multiplayer that uses Game Boy Advance units linked through the connecting console cable has up to four players to defend the vessel.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition comes with updated features and some brand new content. The graphics have been updated to put the world and inhabitants of the game into the majestic HD of digital technologies.

With new voiceovers that carry these unforgettable characters to life as never before, audio has been upgraded too.

There’s a newly designed ‘Mimic’ feature, too. This enables the character to take the shape of different characters you encounter on the journey, and you can change your lookup.

For the first time, the game also features a cooperative multiplayer, as the game is a perfect co-op experience. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered edition contains crossplay as well! That means you’ll be able to play with everyone who owns the game online, regardless of their system.

Whether you’re playing online as a partner or as a solo adventurer, you ‘re going to be able to conquer dangerous dungeons and take on difficult enemies, some of which are brand-new and have been introduced to this game version.
