Written by Taffy Brodesser-Akner, Fleishman Is in Trouble is an upcoming drama streaming miniseries, made for FX. Based on a novel by Taffy, he is also the executive producer alongside Carl Beverly, Susannah Grant, Sarah Timberman and Jonathan Dayton Valerie Faris.
ABC Signature acquired the rights to the novel and Taffy was bought to write the adaptation. The project was given a limited series order in March 2021 and it is now scheduled to premiere soon on Hulu. Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris have joined as the director for all the episodes.

Fleishman Is in Trouble Plot and Cast
Fleishman Is in Trouble will focus on Toby Fleishman, a recently divorced forty-something year old man, finds himself immersed in the world of app-based dating. But as he begins to find successes he never found in his youth, his ex-wife Rachel disappears without a trace, leaving him with only his kids.
As he balances looking after his children, a promotion at the hospital where he works, and all the women in Manhattan, he realizes that he’ll never be able to figure out what happened to his wife until he can be more honest about what happened to their marriage in the first place.
Coming to the cast, we will get to see Jesse Eisenberg, Lizzy Caplan, Claire Danes and Adam Brody in the lead roles. The supporting cast members include Maxim Jasper Swinton, Meara Mahoney Gross, Joy Suprano, Michael Gaston, Ralph Adriel Johnson, Brian Miskell, Christian Slater and Josh Radnor.
Fleishman Is in Trouble Release Date
Casting for Fleishman Is in Trouble began in November 2021 and was finalized by 2022. Principal photography for the series began in New York City in February 2022.
The makers have not revealed a release date of the new series for now, but we can expect in 2022. It has been confirmed that the new show will consist of nine episodes.
