Florida Man: Release Date, Trailer, and more!

Created by Donald Todd, Florida Man is an upcoming American streaming television series. Todd has also served as an executive producer alongside Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and Miguel Arteta. The show is produced for Netflix.

In April 2021, Netflix announced that it had given an eight-episode series order to Florida Man with Édgar Ramírez attached to star and Aggregate Films set to produce. Florida Man is scheduled to be released on Netflix.

Florida Man Plot and Cast

Florida Man will focus on a struggling ex-cop, Mike Valentine, who returns to his home state of Florida. He is working on what should be a quick case to locate a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend but becomes a journey into family secrets and a battle to do the right thing.

Further details shall be revealed once the show premieres on Netflix. A few online sources say that Mike’s father and a character named Delly West would play an important role in the show.

Coming to the cast, the leads include Edgar Ramirez, Anthony LaPaglia, Abbey Lee, Otmara Marrero, Lex Scott Davis, Emory Cohen, and Isaiah Johnson. The supporting cast members include Clark Gregg, Sibongile Mlambo, Paul Schneider, Lauren Buglioli, Michael Esper, Leonard Earl Howze, Isabel Gameros, and Mark Jeffrey Miller.

Florida Man Release Date

Florida Man was given a series order in April 2021 and it was reported a few months later that Miguel Arteta, Julian Farino, Haidaa al-Mansour, and Kevin Bray have been brought in as the directors of the episodes.

For now, we can expect the series to release in 2022 although a specific release date is yet to be revealed. Filming for the series began in August 2021 and ended in December 2021.
