With May just around the corner, Sony unveiled the next pack of free games for PlayStation Plus active users. As expected, May 2020 PlayStation Plus schedule comprises two PS4 games: Cities: Skylines as well as Farming Simulator 19. Games — from creators Colossal Order and Giants Software, both — will be freely available from Tuesday, May 5.
Cities: Skylines
Cities: Skyline is a new alternative to traditional city simulation. The game brings new gameplay features to realize the thrills and struggles of establishing and maintaining a modern city. While extending on some well-established tropes of the city building knowledge.
The game received positive feedback from reviewers and was a commercial hit, with more than six million unit sales on all platforms as of March 2019.
It’s a surprising choice for a free present, considering that this is nothing but a casual encounter. Players should be warned, this is not a walk in the park. It’s a very complex, comprehensive city management game.
Farming Simulator 19
Farming Simulator 19 is, an agricultural simulator — so this PlayStation Plus kit offers you a city and rural option. The game was released in 2018, an update from the previous year.
The biggest farming simulation arrives with a total visual overhaul and with the most comprehensive farming experience ever! Become a modern farmer and grow your farm in two vast American and European environments, packed with exciting new farming practices, cultivating crops, and animal husbandry.
If Cities: Skylines or Farming Simulator 19 isn’t for you, there’s still time to catch April’s PlayStation Plus titles, like Uncharted 4. Or if you have an Xbox, so Xbox Games With Gold for May 2020 will include V-Rally 4, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor-Martyr, and a few more.
Meanwhile, one still has a couple of days to snag April’s free PlayStation Plus games: Uncharted 4: Thief’s End and Dirt Rally 2.0. These titles will return to their usual price beginning on Monday, May 4.
