11 Bit Studios is well-known as the mastermind behind the city-building survival game, Frostpunk. Released between 2018 and 2021 for all the platforms separately, the game received a decent feedback. Although the game has not been released yet for Android and iOS, it is finally getting a sequel titled Frostpunk 2. The story will be taking place directly after the events of the first game and it is scheduled to be released soon.

Frostpunk 2: Release Date

As revealed earlier, Frostpunk 2 will be a sequel to the highly successful game Frostpunk. The game was announced back in 2021 and considering that the first part’s gameplay and visuals were loved by the public, they are eagerly waiting for the release of the sequel. As per reports, developers have not locked a release date but it is confirmed to arrive in 2024.

11 Bit Studios is still working on the game and they are yet to reveal a lot of things about it. Meanwhile, they have released a trailer four months ago which features a brief view of what is exactly going to happen inside Frostpunk 2.

Frostpunk 2: Gameplay

Frostpunk 2 will continue 30 years after the events of the first game. Survival is going to get tough this time and the city will also witness an expansion. People have different plans for the future.

This time the gamers have to build districts which would work as the base layer and the main economy of the game. Things would become hard because of the modifiers and upgrades and an increase in scope will lead to an impact in the overall strategy.

Players also need to struggle with other problems like hunger, disease and a lot more. Factions and communities will also get developed at one point and players have to manage them at the same time.
