Frostpunk is a survival game created and produced by 11-bit studios. It was launched for Windows in April 2018 while released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2019. The game got favorable reviews upon launch and shipped over 1.4 million copies within one year of release.
The game takes place in an alternative 1886, where the explosions of Krakatoa and Mount Tambora, the dimming of the Moon, and other unexplained causes triggered the volcanic winter of the earth. It, in effect, contributed to massive crop loss and the deaths of millions. This occurrence is approximately associated with the ancient eruption of Krakatoa in 1883, a volcanic phenomenon that contributed to global cooling.

Cold and gritty colony maker and survival plan The final expansion of Frostpunk is heading this summer. The TVADGYCGJR prototype, as it was named, has a new teaser. It’s all got a new tag, and luckily it’s one that’s a bit smoother on the mouth.
Frostpunk: On the Edge is what is now called. The teaser doesn’t give a lot to retrieve. There’s snow, which isn’t a shock. But the press release of Developer 11 Bit Studios fills in a few blanks.
On The Edge occurs after a huge, dangerous storm hits New London at the end of Frostpunk’s campaign. The update would involve a new plot scenario, the “string of obstacles” set on the “new, bleak world” and the “special features” to be found on the Frostland game screen.
Beyond this, one doesn’t know a thing about On The Edge but will hear more when there is a release date. Until then, stay cool.
