With the April winding up, it’s almost time for a replacement of freebies for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Microsoft has revealed the four games–two Xbox One, two Xbox 360–you’ll be ready to snag in May 2020. Next month’s Games with Gold offerings once more lean into sports and racing, but there’s also a pair of action-RPGs. The primary of those games are going to be available this Friday, May 1.
For the entire month, users can check out V-Rally 4, a 2018 Xbox One off-road racing game that features quite 50 rallycross cars, buggies, and more. V-Rally-4 is more of an arcade racing game than a sim, with scenic tracks scattered across every continent. Subscribers will be able to download the first batch of May 2020 Games with Gold titles on May 1, followed by the second batch on May 16. From May Day to May 15, you’ll snatch Sensible World of Soccer, an enhanced Xbox 360 version of the top-down ’90s soccer game. Sensible World of Soccer originally released on the Amiga. Though the on-the-field gameplay is simplistic, it’s a reasonably robust club management system, especially once you consider it launched in 1994.

If you are not into sports or racing, the Diablo-esque Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr for Xbox One is going to be available from May 16 to June 15. The story-driven campaign is about within the 41st millennium amidst a large-scale war and maybe played either solo or cooperatively with up to four players. You can also head back to 2009 from May 16 to May 31 with Overlord 2, an honest Xbox 360 action-RPG within the now-defunct series. It earned a 7.5/10 in GameSpot’s Overlord 2 review, during which we praised the various combat mechanics and humorous stories. Meanwhile, Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle will be accessible for free until May 15. The next batch of Xbox Games with Gold titles will be revealed by Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb in the coming days.
