Gaslit: Release Date, Cast and more!
Created by Robbie Pickering, Gaslit is an upcoming American political thriller limited television series based on the first season of the podcast Slow Burn by Leon Neyfakh. The show is scheduled to premiere on Starz on April 24, 2022.
The upcoming series is directed by Matt Ross and executive producers are Robbie Pickering, Matt Ross, Sam Esmail, Chad Hamilton, Julia Roberts, Gabriel Roth, and Josh Levin.

Gaslit Plot and Cast
The series is about the Watergate scandal and focuses on several untold stories, including Richard Nixon’s subordinates, deranged zealots, and the whistleblowers who would eventually bring the whole enterprise crashing down.
The story will centre on Martha Mitchell, a celebrity Arkansan socialite and wife to Nixon’s loyal Attorney General, John N. Mitchell. Despite her party affiliation, she is the first person to publicly sound the alarm on Nixon’s involvement in Watergate, causing both the presidency and her personal life to unravel. As attorney general, Mitchell is forced to choose between Martha and the president.
The main cast includes Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Dan Stevens, Betty Gilpin, Shea Whigham, Darby Camp and Aleksandar Filimonović. We will also get to see Allison Tolman, J.C. Mackenzie, Chris Bauer, Chris Messina, Hamish Linklater, Jeff Doucette, Patton Oswalt, Nat Faxon, Erinn Hayes, Patrick Walker, Carlos Valdes, Raphael Sbarge, Anne Dudek, Chris Conner, Brian Geraghty, Nelson Franklin, Reed Diamond, Johnny Berchtold, Adam Ray and Billy Smith in recurring roles.
Gaslit Release Date
On February 2, 2022, it was officially announced that the series is going to premiere on April 24, 2022, on Starz. Although they have not revealed the number of episodes and the running time for each.
The makers are yet to make some more announcements on the show and it is unknown if it has been renewed for another season.
