Developed by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, Gen V is an upcoming American superhero streaming television series and a spin-off of The Boys. Craig Rosenberg wrote and executive produced the series with Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavan Shetty, Michaela Starr, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Sarah Carbiener, Erica Rosbe, Aisha Porter-Christie, Judalina Neira, and Zak Schwartz.
Filming began at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus in May 2022 and the Claireville Conservation Area. The show is set to premiere on Prime Video. The series is expected to premiere in 2023.

Gen V Release Date
Unfortunately, we don’t have a confirmed release date for The Boys’ “GEN V” spinoff at the time of writing.
The spinoff entered production in May this year at the University of Toronto and is set to wrap in October if not by the end of 2022. We can expect the show to be out in 2023.
Gen V Plot and Cast
When the spinoff was originally announced in September 2021, Collider reported it being described by Amazon as “part college show, part Hunger Games – with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys”.
In further news, GEN V has been said to follow “the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes” at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, run by Vought International, “as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities”.
GEN V will also focus on the G-Men, Garth Ennis, and Darick Robertson’s original parody of Marvel’s X-Men, who were briefly mentioned in the first season of The Boys.
Coming to the cast, We do have some official cast details: Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Lizze Broadway, Jaz Sinclair alongside Chance Perdomo, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, and Shelley Conn.
