On November 29, 2019, CBS announced that they were developing an adaptation of the BBC One series Ghosts.

The first season of the series premiered on April 15, 2019 followed by the second season on September 21, 2020. The third season was released on August 9, 2021. The show received positive reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Ghosts Plot and Cast

While most episodes of Ghosts can be appreciated as stand-alone stories, there are a few narrative lines that run over numerous episodes of the sitcom. We’ve been following Mike and Alison’s attempts to rehabilitate the old Button House, hoping to turn it into a lovely venue for events and lodging, since the beginning.

Meanwhile, each new series reveals new details about the lives of Button House’s departed residents, detailing the circumstances of their deaths in stories that range from morbidly funny to deeply moving. Katy Wix, star of Ghosts, told RadioTimes.com that she’d like to discover more about Mary’s allegation of witchcraft, which led to her being burned at the stake in Stuart-era England.

The main cast of the series includes some popular names like Charlotte Ritchie, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Martha Howe-Douglas, Mathew Baynton, Jim Howick, Ben Willbond, Katy Wix, Laurence Rickard, and Simon Farnaby, and Lolly Adefope.

Ghosts Season 4 Release Date

The makers have not confirmed a release date for the fourth season of Ghosts. The fourth season was announced in November 2021 and the latest update says that filming for the series concluded in mid-March 2022.

For now, Ghosts Season 4 should be releasing anytime in 2022. It is expected to have six episodes like the first three seasons and the rest of the details are yet to be revealed by the makers.
