Giri/Haji is a Japanese Crime Thriller show which made its debut on Netflix in January 2020. The show was created for BBC network but later on, Netflix bought the rights to stream it as well. It became famous for its ability to keep the audience engaged.
The Plot of the show:
The fans or the viewers of this were majorly hooked on it. The plot of the show is based in London and Tokyo. The story follows the life of a Japanese Detective who sets off to London to find his missing brother.The show covers the dark and intense side of London.
It throws light on the shady business that thrives in the city. How the city has rich suburbs and dark and small alleys where the underworld flourishes and exists. Kenzo who is the detective comes face to face with the dark reality of the city. While trying to find his brother he unravels hidden secrets and agendas.

The show aired on BBC London in October of 2019 and went on till November of 2019. However, it made its debut on Netflix for the international audience on 10th January 2020. The show has a total of eight episodes. Each episode with a run time of 50 minutes roughly.
The show has not been confirmed for renewal yet. BBC is yet to announce or confirm if the show will get a season two. However, since the show has done well for itself. It has received a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDb. We can expect it to be renewed by BBC or maybe Netflix!
