Godfall: Release Date, Next-gen Console Launch?

Godfall, published by Gearbox publishing is an upcoming action-adventure game. Play station 5 has already assured its users the next-gen experience and visuals. Godfall splits into different realms of the Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Spirit where the player’s role is to prevent a major apocalyptic event.

Lee says that it will be an exciting experience of playing this game on PS5 because of the DualSense controller. This controller transfers physical feedback of movements and contacts (remember here we are not talking about the vibrations!)

Release Date

Godfall is set to be released by late 2020 by which we mean the holiday season. The launch date and release date has not been confirmed yet. Godfall will only be available on PS5 and PC, which means it’s not available for Xbox players!

Gameplay

Set in a high fantasy setting, splitting into different realms where you have to save and prevent a major apocalyptic event. You will see five types of weapons that you can use based on the armor set. The classes are Dual-Blades, Longswords, Two-Handed Warhammers, and Two-Handed Greatswords. These weapons help you to perform your quick moves by executing four consecutive small attacks.

You can also perform heavy attacks, known as Blade Cyclone as a finisher. Another feature is that Godfall offers multiplayer up to three players as they’ll slash, shoot and loot their way to backdrops.

Each player’s character will have an overall level which you’ll have to increase as you play. You can increase your level to unlock skill grids that will help you to get new abilities. Rather than looting you must focus more on finding things to customize your loadout and upgrading your level.

Godfall was among the games confirmed on PS5, taking advantage of new console’s capabilities. Godfall is stated to release in holiday 2020, be ready!
