After the huge success of both Godzilla:King of the Monsters and Kong:Skull Island, there is another film that has been added to the successful Monsterverse franchise, and that is the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong. Release date and other updates
The film’s distributors, Warner Bros. Pictures, held an impromptu test screening in February, 2020, which received positive reviews. Godzilla vs. Kong was originally slated for release in May, 2020. It was first pushed back to March 13, 2020, and then postponed to November 20, 2020. However, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic that is still ravaging across the world, it seemed impossible for the film to make it to theatres on its scheduled release date.
Godzilla vs. Kong is now scheduled to release in the US on May 21, 2021, which was originally supposed to be the release date for The Matrix 4. The film will be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX in theatres across the world.
